Logo Project Stage One

It is a long a hard road for a pc user like me to use a mac.  It's even harder try and learn to use adobe illustrator but, this is all I have so far.  I am slowly learning how to use this program and i think its coming along okay.  I have some struggles with my "S" letter but I think ill get the hang of it.  The other small problem i have to is get the "M" shape down.  Any ideas on how to fix my two little problems?

Refined and Geometric Shapes

The first picture is the one of my refined logo.  I decided to go with this one because it was simple and easy to remember and everyone seemed to have liked it the most because of how simple it was.  the second picture is the geometric shape of the logo.
